THE COUTTS FAMILY: God has blessed our family with the opportunity to serve in Vita, Manitoba. Stephanie grew up just north of Grand Forks in Minnesota. Jonathan was raised near Hamilton in southern Ontario. We met at Steinbach Bible College and were married in 2011. We have since been blessed with four additions to the family: Stephen, Diana, Peter, and Emily. God called us to Vita in 2015.
While God has sustained, provided, equipped, comforted, and led us in too many ways to recount here, we would like to share two Scriptures of special importance: Ps. 73:23-26 “Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (NASB) Rom. 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NKJV) Both of these texts speak to the faithfulness of God in the midst of our neediness. Our hope is in Him, and by His grace we proclaim the truth and life found in Jesus Christ alone.
